On April 14, 2026, our team had the opportunity to attend the official inauguration of the Malaysia Sepaktakraw Academy Complex in Kampung Bharu. The energy at the event was electric as Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim joined industry leaders to celebrate this massive milestone for our national sport.
The Tour
We were honored to be taken around the new facilities, and we learned so much about the future of this sport. This RM6 million complex is a true game-changer, featuring athlete accommodation, a high-tech gym, dedicated study rooms, and world-class training courts all under one roof. Seeing the young talents training on the new courts reminded us exactly why we believe in the "Academy" pillar of our mission—it’s about nurturing the next generation of leaders.

The Spark of Support
The highlight of the day was the announcement of a RM2 million allocation to strengthen the academy’s operations and player welfare. This investment ensures our athletes have the best food, clothing, and training environment possible. We left feeling inspired by the commitment shown by the government and the Malaysian Sepaktakraw Association (PSM).
Looking Ahead
As we head toward the 2026 Sepaktakraw World Cup this May at Titiwangsa Stadium, the future has never looked brighter. We are thrilled to witness this "initial burst" of growth and can't wait to see our national industry reach even greater heights. Selamat Datang to the future of Sepaktakraw!
