The Malaysian Sepak Takraw team has made the nation proud by clinching the gold medal in the Quadrant event at the ASTAF Sepaktakraw Asian Cup 2025, held at Titiwangsa Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. In an exciting and thrilling final, Malaysia defeated Japan 2-0, displaying amazing teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship.
Tournament Highlight.
The Malaysian squad delivered a stellar performance, controlling the match from start to finish, securing the top spot on the podium by beating Japan 2-0. As for the Double event, Malaysia fought bravely and took the first set of the match with a promising 15-7. But Thailand bounced back to win the next two sets. Malaysia finished as proud silver medalists in this category.
